Specifics about this evaporator: Speed, convenience, and control are the features of the Zipvap 18 system. The Zipvap 18 is great for fast concentration of multiple samples. It has 18 individual needle valves for precision control of Nitrogen (or other evaporating gas) for each sample. Contained in a triple block heater any size tube up to 25 mm. diameter can be accommodated with Zanntek's evaporator. Individual control of flow is a great feature. The main structural parts of the Zipvap 18 are made of nickel plated aluminum or nylon. The needle valves are nickel plated brass. The Zipvap 18 is supplied with zirconium beads for heat stability. Aluminum blocks are for the "Thermolyne" block heater for different size test tubes is also available. The triple block heater with analog control is an integral part of the Zipvap 18. 120V 60 Hz and 220V 50 Hz also Available!
